We are about to leave for Kenya, 4th year!!!!

All,

Margaret and I are aimlessly running around packing, making sure arrangements are made, going to last minute meetings, etc before we leave tonight for our 4th year teaching art to the Smart, Beautiful and Important students of St. Al's in the Kibera Slum. Wow, what an honor and privilege to be able to do this. I know I speak for us both when I say that I am filled with gratitude for the ability to do this. Its our first year of completing a 4 year curriculum and the introduction of the graduate institute that will start this year for those that have already departed St. Al's prior to going to University.

Please come on this trip with us, we would like to take you along as we have in the past. I could not be more excited to provide an art immersion curriculum to amazing students, while we give them a venue to express themselves in a way that is all theirs, they end up giving us so much more in return by the love, honor, respect and lives we get to take part in each year.

We are humbled by this experience and can't wait to start this newest year. Stay tuned.

With Gratitude for your support,

Charles and Margaret

  2. Hey Chuckles,
I'm just a tab bit late catching up with you and "Magg" on your journey to Kenya (sorry). I'm dedicating my morning to hearing all your wonderful tales. I'm buckeling up, move over.

    Big hug,
    R*
